OUR PROJECT:

We have set ourselves objectives that concern our emotional sphere, even before material. It is not possible to think of a good wine without this being an "ethical" wine; the good is not expressed in the mouth but in the spirit. Perhaps, it is no coincidence that alcohol, due to its ethereal nature, is called spirit. Ethics is our behavior.
In moments of joy and despair, our behavior will have to instill trust in those who want to place a bottle of wine on their table and decide to share it with their loved ones. The act of introducing food into the body is the most intimate gesture that each individual can perform. Think about it;

History:

In the 40 thousand square meters of land surrounding Villa Maria you can find, in addition to an immense expanse of fields and nature, the Cascina Pizzone and a small oratory dedicated to the Madonna, which serves as a private chapel. In the thirties the owner, the knight of labor as well as mayor of Rivanazzano Terme from 1951 to 1959, Vincenzo Mezzacane, expanded the structure with the construction of blocks of flats and cottages, making it an efficient complex so as to make it deserve the award for best medium company in 1954 agricultural in Italy.

BOTTLING

3 September 2020, the first bottling of Cantina Mezzacane.

The amphorae

Built in terracotta, they are not glazed but are covered inside with a thin layer of beeswax in order to limit evaporation and exchange with the external environment.

The fermentation temperature is naturally controlled; it is the coolness of the earth in which the amphorae are buried that keeps it relatively low.

Georgian land in contact with Italian land. Georgian tradition in harmony with Italian tradition. Wine always has

united people, has always united people. Wine is conviviality, cum vive, that is, living together.

The colors of the wine are decidedly loaded with tones ranging from ancient gold to orange to amber with shades that reach pink.
